20 Awareness meetings/FGDs were conducted at camps with Young women on Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) through IEC Brochures in all the 8 Blocks of Naisingpara in the month of April, 2014 by Jana Unnayan Samiti Tripura (JUST) and supported by Indo Global Social Service Society (IGSSS). The meeting was organized by the women themselves and facilitated by the RIDe-B staff. The IEC Brochures were printed into local language and distributed among the women where they read out the Brochures and discussed among themselves. The RIDe-B staff then explained to them in details the sign & symptoms, method of transmission, method of treatment, consequences if left untreated and the prevention method of STI. 393 women participated in the Focused Group Discussion (FGD) and 607 brochures were distributed house to house.
