The World Disabled Day on 3rd Dec 2015 was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by Dasamani Debbarma, the person was with locomotors disability. The agenda was nicely designed to make it more attractive and enjoyful. Cultural program/ Movie show on success story/ song , by participants with disability were performed in between speeches. Mr. Jagrata Bhowmik welcomed the participants and changes their life for JUST project. Prashanta Chaudhury, Coordinator presented an overview of the Project . He also briefed about the current status of PwDs and CwDs as per census. Fr. Jeevan Kennady, Director of JUST delivered his welcome speech citing the JUST role and project’s contribution to bring the PwD and CwD in the streamline. CDPO, Teliamura elaborated various schemes to strengthen PwDs and CwDs in the field of education, livelihood etc. The Panchayet Extension Officer, Teliamura Rural Development Block welcomed the initiatives of JUST and assured his all sorts of support in implementation of the project. Mr. Arabinda Chowdhury. Ex. Project Officer, DRR and former staff of CBDP/CFDP/CMDRR -JUST encouraged the participants not to be disappointed as the world is still waiting to be enriched with their creative ideas
