On 6th June, 2019 World Environment Day was organized by JUST with the theme “Air Pollution” at Our Lady of Holy Cross School, Chintaram Para, Borkathal. The program began with a welcome speech by Sister Joysline, Principle of the school. Then, Mr. Robert Lushai, the Coordinator of JUST took the initiative to conduct an icebreaking session with students and teacher. Then, the Resource person Mr. Anthony Debbarma took the awareness program with the theme Air Pollution and on the importance of environment protection. To mark the celebration 21 dragon fruit and 20 mango saplings were planted in the School campus. The Coordinator of FARMNE advised the students and teachers to put more attention and take care of the saplings planted to have better environment.
