JUST in collaboration with NESRC Guwahati organized a seminar on peace promotion in Tripura and way forward on 25th May 2019 at JUST hall Agartala. Fr. Jeevan Kennady the Director of JUST welcomed all the participants and explained the objectives of the seminar and was followed key note address by Dr. Fr. Walter Fernandes, Senior Fellow NESRC, Guwahati. There were 2 book reviews and panel discussions on Journals of Dispute: Media Coverage of Conflicts in the Northeast and Growing up in a Conflict Zone: Children Surviving in Tripura. There were 35 participants who were research Scholars and activists who took part in the seminar and many suggestions came out as way forward for peace promotion in Tripura.
