JUST assisted by Caritas India helps the farmers clubs for sustainable agriculture through seed support.
On 10th April-2015, JUST organized a program under FARM Northeast project assisted by Caritas India and distributed 2 pump sets to the farmers Clubs. The program started at about 2:30pm at Radhanagar Para. 42 farmers took part in the program. Fr. Fredrick, the Director of Caritas India was the chief guest and Bishop Lumen Monteiro of Agartala was the special guest. The director of Caritas India in his short speech encouraged the farmers with his enlighten words to keep doing what they have been doing and to do better in future. The special guest, Bishop Lumen also spoke a few encouraging words for the farmers. A farmer Mr. Durjoy Debbarma shared regarding the achievements and cultivations they do. Hamari farmers Club of Radhanagar Para and Chintram farmers club of Chintram para received one each pump sets for sustainable agriculture after the program.
