1. On 6th March 2014, Alurpoth SHG, Durjoynagar, West Tripura, stitched mosquito nets and sold in the market and got profit of Rs. 5750/-. 2. Month of March 2014, Mary SHG, West Tripura sold 40 Kg turmeric powder at the rate of Rs. 200/- and got Rs. 8000/-. And Siamthar SHG sold 25 Kg of raw turmeric at the rate of Rs. 30/- and benefited Rs. 750/- 3. Month of March 2014, SDM, Amarpur, South Tripura donated pencil boxes and pencils to 57 students reading at Simari cluster school Buburia and he was so happy to see the courage and constant efforts of women in the field of education. And he promised them that he would construct pakka floor with cement. 4. 8th March 2014, Women�s day was marked by South and West Tripura women separately by their own where 470 women participated in the program. And all the expenses of the program was born by SHG members themselves. Cultural program was organized by women and thus they expressed their happiness, unity and togetherness.
